The Crossfire offers many design cues reminiscent of the 1930s and 1940s along with refinements of today. It is available as a roadster with a hard top convertible option as well as a retractable rear foldable spoiler wing. It comes powered by a 3.2-liter V6 that feels and sounds like the engine of the Mercedes SLK, the car upon which it is based and comes available with a choice of six-speed manual or five-speed automatic with AutoStick. The new Crossfire SRT-6 features a supercharged version of the V6 rated at 330 horsepower, a large jump from the standard 215-horsepower engine. The SRT-6 is boasted to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds. For 2005, Chrysler is adding a roadster for top-down motoring. Plus, a powerful new SRT-6 model is available, both coupe and roadster body styles.
