The 575M has a long hood, a comfortably small cockpit, and sits a few inches off of the ground. Like its younger brother the F430, the 575M has only two seats for car enthusiasts. Its layout allows weight distribution to be measured at an optimum 50/50. Traction control on the car can be electronically adjusted between sport and normal settings. The rear mounted Ferrari 5.7-liter V-12 motor generates 515-horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, which can propel it from zero to sixty in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of over 200 mph. A 6-speed manual transmission or a Formula One inspired 6-speed semi automatic sequential manual transmission is available.Changes for 2005 are minimal.
