Introduction
The E-250 is only available as a cargo van. The standard engine is a 225 hp 4.6-liter V-8. There is also an optional 255 hp 5.4-liter V-8. Both are controlled by a four-speed automatic transmission. Extended versions are 20-inches longer than the E-150. The gross vehicle weight rating is 8,600lbs. For 2006, the Ford E-250 comes with a transmission cooler.
