GMC Savana Overview

The Savana is available with both rear wheel drive and four wheel drive. In an effort to cater to businesses and large families, the full-sized van comes available with five different engines: a 195-hp, 4.3-liter V-6, a 285-hp, 4.8-liter V-8, a 295-hp, 5.3-liter V-8, a 345-hp, 6.0-liter V-8, or a 250-hp, 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8. All-disc antilock brakes and StabiliTrak electronic stability system are standard while a left-side door and OnStar communication system are optional.

For 2006, the Savana is available with a 250-horsepower, 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8 on the upper version cargo models.
