OVERVIEW
The Insight seats two passengers and was the first hybrid vehicle available in North America. It has very unique styling and features a gas mileage of 60 mpg city and 66 mpg highway. It is powered by both a 1.0-liter three cylinder combustion engine and an electric motor. Together they produce 73 horsepower with the five-speed manual transmission and 71 horsepower in the Continuously Variable Transmission. The power for the electric motor is stored in a 48lb 144-volt battery behind the seats.

The Honda Insight is a carryover from 2005.
