The BMW Alpina B7 is an ultra luxury high-performance sedan. This large BMW sedan has been tuned by the well-known motorsport company Alpina, that helped create the 3.0CSL which won the European touring car championship in 1973.

The Alpina B7 is based off of the BMW 7-series. The interior is almost identical to the 760Li and it has been given slight external modifications to set it apart from other 7-series. Performance tuning is where the Alpina B7 stands alone. It is powered by a supercharged 500 hp 4.4-liger V8 engine. This power is controlled by an Alpina six-speed automatic transmission with manual gear select paddles. Connecting the sedan to the road are four massive cast-alloy 21-inch wheels.

While the BMW Alpina B7 has been available in Europe since 2004, it is brand new for Northern America in 2007.

Buying a 2007 BMW ALPINA B7

Purchasing an older vehicle, such as the 2007 BMW ALPINA B7, makes good financial sense. You're able to avoid the steep depreciation rates that occur with brand new vehicles. This essentially gives you the advantage of getting a 2007 BMW ALPINA B7 for less money than when it was new. If the 2007 BMW ALPINA B7 was properly maintained, you also have a good chance of steering clear of problems that would have developed when the car was new.

The amount you pay for an older car depends on various factors. One important element is where you buy the vehicle. You're likely to get a better deal if you buy it from a private party, as opposed to a dealer. On the other hand, a reputable dealer will normally have some kind of limited warranty, so you can drive away knowing that if the car breaks down right away, you'll be covered. Another factor that may affect price on a 2007 BMW ALPINA B7 is whether it's "certified" by the manufacturer. A certified vehicle will cost more because warranty service is provided that normally doesn't come with a used car.
