The Escape Hybrid is available with four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive. All come with continuously variable automatic transmissions; no manuals are available. The power comes from a 2.3-liter Duratec four-cylinder combined with an electric motor, making it a hybrid vehicle able to use either engine when needed. It comes in one well-equipped trim level and optional leather seating, upgraded audio equipment, side-curtain airbags and a navigation system are available. A safety package includes side-curtain airbags that cover all seating areas as well as side airbags for the driver and front-seat passenger.The Ford Escape Hybrid is a carryover from 2006.
