Pontiac G6 Overview

The G6 is a front-wheel drive sporty coupe/sedan/convertible that can seat four to five people. It has many standard features such as sport-tuned fully independent suspension and 16-inch wheels. It is available in three trims: Base, GT, and GTP. The Base trim has a 169 hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder. The GT gets a 224 hp 3.5-liter V-6 or 240 hp 3.9-liter V-6. A four-speed automatic comes in the Base and GT trims. However, for GT sedans and coupes with the 3.9-liter V-6, a six-speed manual is available. The GTP trim gets a 252 hp 3.6-liter V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic.

For 2007, the Pontiac G6 is largely redesigned with more power and performance.
