Introduction
The S8 is powered by a 5.2-liter 450-hp V-10, similar to the engine found in the Lamborghini Gallardo. It utilizes a six-speed Tiptronic transmission and Audi's quattro permanent all-wheel drive system to put the power to the ground. Inside it has standard leather upholstery, Alcantara headliner, ten airbags, and power memory front seats. Options include such luxuries as a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, upgraded leather appointments, power rear sunshade, power trunk and advanced keyless entry. Changes for 2008 include a subtle front and rear end facelift, turn signals on the side mirrors, new rear taillights and various other miscellaneous changes inside and out.
