The BMW X6 is available in two trim levels, xDrive35i and xDrive50i, boasting twin-turbo and direct fuel injection technologies. A 300 hp 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine powers the xDrive35i, while the xDrive50i debuts BMW's first production turbocharged V8, generating 400 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed Sport automatic transmission with Steptronic and steering wheel shift paddles. Exclusive to the X6, BMW's new Dynamic Performance Control is standard on both trims, distributing drive force between the rear wheels and enhancing its sporty handling characteristics. Additional standard features include six airbags, electronic stability control, 19-inch alloy wheels with run-flat tires, power moonroof and leather upholstery; an available power liftgate opens to reveal a generous cargo area.
