In 2008 and similar model years, the EX is the top trim for the Honda Civic sedan, and the 2008 Honda Civic EX with Leather, also called the EX-L, provides all of the great Honda engineering fans love in the EX, along with some special interior features.

If you want to talk power, the 2008 Civic runs on a 1.8-Liter 16-Valve SOHC i-VTEC engine. Honda claims an EPA estimated 26 miles per gallon in city and 34 mpg in highway driving for this car with the standard 5-speed manual transmission. A 5-speed automatic transmission is also available with MPG of 25/36. The 2008 Civic comes with airbags, anti-lock brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). What sets the EX apart is a selection of interior and exterior style and comfort features not provided in the DX and LX models, like air conditioning, steering wheel mounted cruise and audio controls, power doors and full power windows, blue ambient console lighting, and a whole lot more for a luxury ride experience. There's also more audio in the EX and EX-L: a 350-Watt AM/FM/CD premium audio system with seven speakers, with subwoofer, MP3 capability and speed sensitive volume control are all standard.

So what does a 'leather package' add to the 2008 Civic EX? The EX-L trim features heated leather front seats. There's also a leather wrapped steering wheel. The leather interior complements all of the feature-rich design of the EX interior. EX-L customers can also add an optional Honda in-dash navigation system.
