The 2008 Honda Fit Base represents Honda's basic offering for the second generation design of this five door hatchback, classified a “subcompact” car in the North American market.

The Honda Fit is powered by a 16 valve SOHC 109 horsepower engine, with a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission standard.
