The Land Rover LR3 combines responsive on-road performance with go-anywhere off-road capability in a single comfortable, safe and secure vehicle.
The LR3 can seat up to seven passengers with the optional third row, and the seats fold flat into the floor individually. It is available in SE and HSE trim levels. Power comes from a 4.4-liter V8 bolted to a six-speed adaptive automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive system. Electronic air suspension, hill descent control and Land Rover's "Terrain Response" system help the LR3 to tackle any off-road situation. Standard safety equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, emergency Brake Assist, electronic stability control with roll mitigation, eight airbags and a security system.
For 2008, the V6 model was dropped from the line-up.
Intelligence on the Upcoming Land Rover LR3 Models For 2009, the Land Rover LR3 receives an exterior refresh, with new body-colored bumpers and fender flares for a more integrated appearance, as well as new interior wood trim. Additionally, the standard third row seat from the previous model year is now optional, and the HSE trim has been dropped from the lineup, replaced by an available HSE upgrade package.
