Mercury Mariner Overview

The Mariner is available with either a front-wheel, or a four-wheel drive system. Two engines are offered; a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine or a 3.0-liter V6. Both are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The use of Electric Power Steering (EPS) contributes to better handling and steering attributes. Safety features include; front and side airbags for the front seat occupants, side-curtain airbags that cover both rows, and vehicle stability control with anti-rollover technology.

For 2008, the Mercury Mariner is completely redesigned.
