Subaru Outback Overview

Beginning this year, the Outback is available only as a wagon. It receives external changes to its bumper and lights, changing it into a more urban looking vehicle. It is available with a four cylinder, turbocharged four-cylinder, or a six-cylinder. It has full time all-wheel drive. The five-speed automatic transmission has new manual gear selection paddle shifters. A unique SI-Drive system is also available that allows three different driving modes: "Intelligent," "Sport" and "Sport Sharp". Subaru's already capable safety features receive a standard tire-pressure monitor as well.

For 2008, the Subaru Outback is no longer available as a sedan. The interior and exterior also get largely redesigned for 2008.
