Volvo S80 Overview

The S80 is available with a 236 hp 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive, a 4.4-liter V8 engine and all-wheel drive, or with a new T6 281 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six and all-wheel drive. Safety features include a patented body structure, ABS, traction control, yaw control, front airbags and new dual-chamber side airbags. Adaptive cruise control, collision warning system with pre-braking, and the new blind-spot information system are optional, as well as active bi-xenon headlamps that follow the road around curves. Also included in the safety roster is the Personal Car Communicator, and a electronic key fob.

For 2008, the Volvo S80 gets the new T6 turbocharged engine model.
