Introduction
The Aston Martin DB9 is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 engine that has 450 horsepower and 420 pounds-feet of torque. There are two transmission options: a six-speed manual gearbox and Touchtronic II, a button-controlled six-speed automatic. The interior is enhanced with Bridge of Weir leather, and an optional walnut, mahogany or bamboo wood trim. Standard safety features for the DB9 include seat-mounted side-impact airbags, all-disc antilock brakes and an electronic stability system. For 2008, the Aston Martin DB9 gets new interior styling and some tech upgrades such as a standard Bluetooth interface.
