Introduction
The S8 is powered by a 5.2-liter 450-hp V10, similar to the engine found in the Lamborghini Gallardo. It utilizes a six-speed Tiptronic transmission and Audi's quattro permanent all-wheel drive system to put the power to the ground. Inside it has standard leather upholstery, Alcantara headliner, ten airbags, and power memory front seats. Options include such luxuries as a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, upgraded leather appointments, power rear sunshade, power trunk and advanced keyless entry. Changes for 2009 include making the contents of last years Premium Package now standard on the S8.
