Dodge Durango Overview

The Durango can seat up to eight passengers with its folding third-row seat. Available only on the 2WD model a 210-hp 3.7-liter V6 is standard, matched with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The popular 303-hp 4.7-liter V8 is a flex-fuel engine and the 335-hp Hemi 5.7-liter V8 includes the Multiple Displacement System (MDS) for better fuel economy. Both V8 engines are packaged with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The 2009 Durango is offered in three models: SE, SLT, and Limited. Each is available with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Standard safety features include electronic stability control and four airbags including side curtains.

For 2009, the Durango is a carryover from 2008.
