The Ford E-350 cargo vans or passenger wagons are built on a rugged platform and offer large interiors with vast cargo capacities.
The Ford E-350 comes with a standard 255-hp 5.4-liter Triton V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. There are two optional engines available, with both being paired to a TorqShift five-speed automatic transmission. A 305-hp 6.8-liter Triton V8 or a 235-hp 6.0-liter Powerstroke diesel with 440 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, underbody full-size spare, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel and variable intermittent wipers. The E-350 is available in the regular or in the extended length version. The cargo van offers both a commercial and a recreational trim. The passenger wagon which has standard traction and stability control with roll-over mitigation offers a rugged XL trim or a well equipped XLT trim and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.
For 2009, The Ford E-350 receives a new instrument panel incorporating a glove box. The 5.4-liter V8 gas engine is now flex fuel capable and the recreational trim on the cargo van and both trims on the passenger wagon now come standard with electronic traction and stability control.
