Introduction
Available in 2WD or 4WD the Yukon XL 2500 seats up to nine passengers and is rated to tow up to 9600 pounds when properly equipped. Equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, the SLE and SLT trims are available with a 352-hp 6.0-liter V8. Safety features standard on all models include dual-stage front airbags, side curtain airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with dynamic rear proportioning, Stabilitrak stability control system with rollover mitigation, tire pressure monitoring system, and OnStar. The 2009 model is a carryover from 2008.
