The front-wheel drive cube is powered by a 122-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, bolted to either a six-speed manual or Xtronic CVT. There are four trim levels available, 1.8, 1.8S, 18SL and 1.8 Krom, each is standard with features like speed-sensitive steering, anti-lock brakes, keyless entry, power windows, single CD player, 6-way manual driver seat, cloth seats, six airbags, active front head restraints, tire pressure monitoring and stability control. The S adds things like cruise control, a cargo cover, dual vanity mirrors, two more speakers (for a total of four) and a driver seat armrest. The SL then adds a standard CVT, 16" alloy wheels, auto headlights, auto climate control, two more speakers (for a total of six) and iPod interface. Finally, the Krom specialty vehicle brings a custom look to the line-up with an aero body kit, chrome grille, rear spoiler, Bluetooth, leather steering wheel with audio controls, and a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer.The 2009 cube is all-new to the North American Nissan family.
