Subaru Legacy Overview

With the availability of a 245-hp six-cylinder Boxer engine option, 18-inch wheels and a Bilstein sport suspension, the Legacy can be well equipped for spirited performance driving. All trims come standard with full time all-wheel drive. The five-speed automatic transmission can be manually shifted via paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel. A unique SI-Drive system is also available that allows three different driving modes; "Intelligent," "Sport" and "Sport Sharp." Subaru's already capable safety features receive a standard tire-pressure monitor as well.

For 2009, the Subaru Legacy receives a new 385-watt harman/kardon audio system on most trims.
