Audi A8 Overview

The five-passenger Audi A8 comes in two variations: the normal wheelbase 4.2, and a long wheelbase 4.2. The direct-injection 4.2-liter V8 produces 350 horsepower, which is routed to the ground by a six-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. Optional tech features include a Bang & Olufsen sound system, solar-panel sunroof, dual-pane security glass, blind spot and lane assistance and adaptive cruise control. Anti-lock brakes, electronic stability system, active head restraints, LED brakelights and ten airbags are some of the standard safety features on the A8.

For 2010, the W12 model has been discontinued, the LED daytime running lights from the W12 become standard on all A8's, and the trunklid from the S8 is now standard on all models.
