Miles Per Gallon
City: 12 MPG
Highway: 19 MPG - 20 MPG
Body Style: Coupe
Engines: 4.2L V-8 420 HP, 5.2L V-10 525 HP
The Audi R8 is the company's first mid-engine super car. It is designed with extreme performance in mind and with other high end sports cars in its sights.
The R8 is loosely based off of the Lamborghini Gallardo platform, and is powered by either a 420-hp 4.2-liter V-8 engine borrowed from the RS4, or the 5.2-liter V-10 borrowed from the Gallardo, making 525-hp in this application. A full-time quattro all-wheel drive system puts that power to the ground and a choice between either a 6-speed manual transmission or an R-tronic automated sequential manual transmission give the driver full control. Standard features include things like satellite radio, Alcantara/leather sport seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, and bi-xenon headlights (full LED headlights on the 5.2). Options include a rearview camera, hill hold assist, navigation system and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
For 2010, the new 5.2 V-10 is introduced, and full LED headlights are an option on the 4.2.

Resale Value for the 2010 Audi R8
When considering the purchase of a new vehicle, it's important to keep in mind what the eventual resale value will be. It is expected that the 2010 Audi R8 will have a good resale value. This assumes that after 3 to of 5 years of ownership the vehicle will be in good condition. Other factors include the optional equipment you choose and the total mileage on your vehicle.
