The S5 Coupe is built with a 354-hp 4.2-liter V8 engine, while a 333-hp 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine debuts in the new Cabriolet body style; both feature FSI direct fuel injection. Transmission choices on the Coupe include a standard six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic with Tiptronic, while Cabriolet models are outfitted exclusively with a seven-speed S tronic transmission, including manual gear selection and steering wheel paddle shifters.
