Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG Overview

The SLK300 is the entry-level offering with a 228-hp V6 mated to a six-speed manual or optional seven-speed automatic. An even sportier SLK350 boasts a 300-hp V6 teamed with a seven-speed automatic. The most powerful car in this class is the SLK55 AMG, sporting a 355-hp V8 and a standard seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Safety features on all SLK models include six airbags (front, side and knee), stability control, traction control, ABS with Brake Assist and the mbrace emergency communication system.

The SLK is unchanged for 2010.
