BMW 1 Series M Overview

The rear-wheel drive 1 Series M is powered by a twin-turbo, 335-hp, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which is the only transmission choice. Standard safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes, adaptive xenon headlights, adaptive brake lights, stability and traction control and run-flat tires with pressure monitoring. To put the extra power to use, 19-inch wheels and tires, a variable M differential lock, sport seats, cross-drilled compound brakes, Servotronic steering, an M Dynamic Mode for the stability control system, and a near 50-50 weight distribution are all standard.

The 1 Series M Coupe is all new for 2011 and will only be available in a limited production run.
