Mercedes-Benz GL550 Overview

The GL-Class is offered with three different engine choices: a 210-hp 3.0-liter diesel V6 in the GL350 BlueTEC, a 335-hp 4.6-liter V8 in the GL450 and a 382-hp 5.5-liter V8 in the GL550. All engines are bolted to a 7-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive system. Standard safety features include anti-lock brakes w/Brake Assist, traction control, stability control w/roll control, eight airbags, mbrace SOS system, PRE-SAFE, trailer stabilization control and a security system, to name a few.

For 2011, the GL550 has new front bumper styling, all models have a new exterior mirror design and new head restraints in the second and third row outboard positions.
