Introduction

The front-wheel drive Galant is offered in two trim levels: ES and SE. Both are powered by a 160-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, paired to a four-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic manual shift mode. The value-conscious ES trim is equipped with 16-inch wheels, auto-off headlamps, air conditioning, cruise control, CD player and an auxiliary audio input jack; SE trims are further outfitted with a power sunroof, 18-inch aluminum wheels, heated front seats, automatic climate control, satellite radio, 6CD changer, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a navigation system with rear backup camera. Standard safety features include stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and a tire pressure monitor, along with dual front, front side-impact and overhead curtain airbags.The Mitsubishi Galant carries over unchanged for 2012.
