Like Ford's popular trucks, the E-350 Super Duty can be optioned to fit the needs of nearly every buyer. That includes CD stereo systems and captains chairs, power windows and doors and even Ford's Sync software for hands-free access to navigation.
Base models are built to be easy to clean and easy to use. A metal floor in the E-350 base model means workers don't have to worry about cleaning out spills and dirt, but each step up the ladder provides simple features that can mean a lot to buyers who are using it for different needs such as carrying passengers, hauling rugs or overseeing construction.
There are several competitors in the full-size van market. The GMC Savana 3500 Cargo and Chevrolet Express 3500 Cargo offer more gears for fuel economy, but there are no media extras like a CD player. The Nissan NV3500 HD has a better interior appointment, but trips to the pump will be more frequent. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Cargo has a smaller engine which means low fuel bills but less towing.
