Making its way across the entire Lexus lineup, the signature spindle-style grille has been added along with new front and rear fascias. For those who plan on crossing some harsh terrain, a Crawl Control mode and terrain-select is now standard with the full-time all-wheel drive system. Lexus Enform infotainment system is included as well and allows owners to access applications like Yelp or Pandora Radio.
The 2013 interior cabin wears even nicer materials like mahogany wood and cashmere trim. Starting last year, Lexus has shaved available LX models down to a single base trim. The “570” in LX570 represents displacement of the lone available engine, a 5.7L V8 putting out 383 hp while paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Although having only one trim and one engine, this luxury eight-seater can be equipped with four different option groups focused on luxury and safety.
If buyers have an extra $1,510 in their pocket, they can purchase the Luxury Package that comes with the SmartAccess key. Also included are heated/ventilated front-row seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. If all that heat is too much, a center-console-mounted cool box - another Luxury Package feature – keeps items stored within at a low temperature.
For those with the means, a Lexus LX570 provides almost everything demanded by large luxury SUV owners. Yet with a price starting over $80,000, there is more value to be found elsewhere. The LX570 does have a cramped third-row unlike the Infiniti QX56 that provides plenty of elbowroom inside the interior cabin. Yet the QX56 won’t keep up with the Lexus when on the trail. For an SUV that is just as good off-road (and a bit better on pavement too), the Land Rover Range Rover has legendary capability plus a longer list of options, but only seats five. If in love with the LX570 but not the price, consider the Toyota Land Cruiser. It offers equal, if not better, off-road capability and similar luxury features at a price around $10,000 less.
While it may not be the best value, shoppers in the large luxury SUV market cannot go wrong with all that comes in the Lexus LX570.
With leather seats, wood trim, and chrome accents, the interior is upscale enough to make passengers forget they’re inside a rough-and-tumble SUV. The 60/40-split middle-row and 50/50-split third-row seat are both equipped with power functions. Middle-row seats slide forward and the third-row folds down, all at the touch of a button. A power tilt-and-slide moonroof has one-touch automation and a sliding sunshade. Located on the center-stack, an LCD display is used to control the media, navigation, and nine-speaker audio system. Besides the usual, music can be played through a USB/Auxiliary input or using Bluetooth music streaming. The exterior has a roof rack and rear spoiler complemented by stylish body side moldings. Fog lights are integrated into the front fascia and the tinted glass increases privacy for second- and third-row passengers.

Only seats five but great on-road and off.
Strong engine, nice interior, but not meant for trails.
The inside space is roomy while outside style is questionable.
Very similar to the LX570, except in price.
