What you must know before buying the Acura ILX
, Automotive Editor -
  • Stock moves slowly
  • Expect pricing to remain unchanged
  • Two promotional lease options
  • Generous incentives net you more for your money

Limited stock due to slow sales:

Sales of the ILX are relatively low, and dealers need to conserve space on their lots for faster-moving stock. This leads to limited on-hand stock, which means you can expect to do some hunting when looking for the perfect ILX. This slow movement also means that you can expect pretty consistent pricing.

Multiple promotional leases to choose from:

Acura is offering two leases on the ILX with the Technology Package. You can opt for the zero down at signing package, which also waives your first payment. This option requires you to only pay fees and taxes at signing, and you'll have to make 35 payments of $340 per month. You can also opt to pay $2,599 plus taxes and fees at signing, and have 36 payments of $259 per month.

Deep discounts on higher trims:

The dealer-to-manufacturer incentives on the 2014 ILX are generous across the board, but they are most generous on the Premium model.

Low APR and extended terms:

On top of the manufacturer-to-dealer incentives, Acura Financial Services is offering 0.9-percent APR on 24- to 60-month loans on the 2014 ILX. If you prefer extended terms, AFS will give you up to 72 months to pay off the loan at just 1.9-percent APR.
