What's New for 2014
Horsepower increases, and Audi has added a few new paint colors.
Choosing Your Audi A5
Some Audis come with more standard equipment than their rivals, and the $39,000 A5 is one of them. You'll still need to upgrade to the $42,100 Premium Plus level if you want the Audi experience you probably expect. Making the leap a $48,200 Prestige adds some nice equipment, but we're not sure the extra cost is worth it. We think the Premium Plus is the best A5 value. (Prices cited are for the A5 coupe.)
A5 S Line Competition Package
For a more aggressive driving experience, Audi offers a black optic grille, gloss-black window surround, S-line exterior bumper, sport steering wheel, aluminum shift knob, sport suspension and 19-inch wheels with titanium finish.
Think of this as a two-seater with plenty of storage space. The A5 has beautiful, fluid exterior lines that set it apart from the competition. However, roomy backseats are not the A5’s forte.
