3/4 Front Glamour 2014 BMW 320

CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the BMW 320
, Automotive Editor -
  • Price leader of 3 Series line-up
  • Low 3.12% APR rate for up to 72 months
  • Cash incentive doubles to $1,000
  • Dramatic price-chop to monthly lease payment -- now just $279

The ground floor of the 3s:

The 320i gets you in the door to BMW 3-series ownership, with generally the same looks as the other 3-series sedans. Only the badge and the 60-horsepower drop compared to a more expensive 328i really gives it away. But there's a large cost savings in picking the 320i, which is fast enough anyway.

Twice the cash (incentive) for November:

Christmas comes early at BMW, as they've doubled the incentive for the 320i this month, now called BMW Holiday Credit, it's up to $1,000. The APR rate ticks up slightly to 3.12 percent, but it's still good for up to 72 months. The 2015s are flowing onto lots and can be special ordered, but there are some 14s around that dealers would like to move.

Lease one for less than $300 a month:

BMW is doing 39-month leases in November, but that means a 320i that was originally $35,300 goes for just $279 per month, with $3,754 due at signing. Adding xDrive adds $20 per month.

The smart way into BMW ownership:

This is probably BMW's best buy right now. Unlike the cost-cutting X1 crossover, this is an iconic BMW style with just the right amount of equipment for a great price -- or a great lease payment if that's the way you want to go.
