Thirty years ago, Chrysler's minivans—the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager—transformed family transportation with vehicles that were even more versatile than station wagons. The upscale Chrysler Town & Country followed a few years later.

Even after all these decades, the Town & Country minivan remains a logical choice for families in all of stages of life.

What's New for 2014

Leather seats and a higher resolution rear-seat DVD player are now standard on all Town & Country models.

Choosing Your Chrysler Town & Country

Paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Town & Country has a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 283 horsepower, and delivers EPA ratings of 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

Standard features are numerous, even at the base level, and include Chrysler's clever Stow 'n Go system for easy configuration of seating and cargo space. The Town & Country boasts an extensive list of options—Chrysler says there are 50 available options.

Buyers choose from four trim levels:

Touring

The base model is equipped with a 6.5 inch touchscreen, 30 GB hard drive, an audio jack, Sirius XM and the Single DVD Entertainment Group, which includes a second-row 9-inch overhead screen, wireless headphones, a remote control, 115-volt power outlet and two USB charging ports.

S

The Dual DVD Blu-ray Entertainment System includes both second and third screens, hi-res video screen, Blu-ray DVD, two USB charging ports, an HDMI input, wireless headphone and a video remote control.

Touring-L

The Touring L moves into near-luxury territory with the SafetyTec Group package, which includes rain-sensitive windshield wipers, auto high beam control, tire-pressure monitoring, rear park assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross path detection and a rear backup camera.

The optional 30th Anniversary package includes 17-inch aluminum wheel with painted satin carbon pockets, a special fender badge, Alcantera suede inserts with Nappa leather bolsters, third-row power folding seats and a special logo on the instrument panel and key.

The Driver’s Convenience Group is also available, and includes a heated steering wheel, heated front- and second-row seats, voice command, keyless entry, a security alarm and remote start.

Limited

The range-topping Limited features the Dual DVD Blu-ray Entertainment System and SafetyTec Group package as standard equipment. An optional Luxury Group package comes with a power sunroof, power-folding third-row seat and load leveling with height-control shocks.
