What you must know before buying the Honda Ridgeline
, Automotive Editor -
  • Slow-selling model
  • Prices remain unchanged
  • Limited stock on dealer lots
  • Honda continues to exclude the slow-selling Ridgeline from lease and financing deals

Low-volume vehicle:

Because the Ridgeline is a slow-selling vehicle, dealers only keep a small number of them on hand. The most common Ridgeline to find on dealer lots is the Sport model. Higher trims typically require more searching and fewer discounts.

Low demand creates stagnant pricing:

There is no arguing that the Ridgeline is not the most in-demand pickup truck on the market, and this low demand results in Honda holding steady on its pricing and deals. This means no new lease offers or financing deals are on the horizon.

Shopping around may save money:

Though factory incentives are rare on the Ridgeline, you may be able to find special deals on the dealership level. If a dealer is slightly overstocked on this midsize pickup, then it may be more willing to give you a deal to free up the space on its lot.
