What you must know before buying the Hyundai Elantra
, Automotive Editor -
  • A strong seller
  • Greater amount of 2015 models rolling in
  • Elantras in Sport trim rare
  • Hefty incentives up to $2,000 on 2014s, but inventory is running out

Big business for Hyundai:

There are minor changes to the Elantra line for 2015, but it's a consistent seller for Hyundai. Still, with more 2015s rolling onto lots there are numerous deals on Elantras for November.

Lots of deals on remaining 2014s:

Hyundai offers a long list of rebates on the 2014 Elantra, but with supplies dwindling it would be better to act sooner rather than later. SE models get $1,500 bonus cash, while the much scarcer Sport and Limited trims are offered with $2,000 cash back. Confusingly, there's also a $500 Holiday Bonus cash offer on the SE. Then, the Elantra is eligible for 90-Day payment deferment, along with a $500 loyalty bonus.

The 2015s get $1,000 bonus on Sport and Limited, and $500 on SE with $500 Holiday Cash. The loyalty bonus also applies

Low finance:

You can lease a 2014 or 2015 Elantra SE sedan for $179 a month for 36 months, with $2,299 or $2,399 due at signing, respectively.

APR ranges from 0-percent for up to 60 months on either 2014 or 2015s, to 0.9 for up to 72 months on 2014s and 1.9 for up to 72 months on 2015s. Those offers are teamed with up to $500 in bonus cash.
