3/4 Front Glamour 2014 Hyundai Sonata

CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the Hyundai Sonata
, Automotive Editor -
  • Inventory levels of 2015 models have increased
  • Substantial mark-downs for both years
  • A few incentives for 2015s and more for 2014s
  • Best time to buy a '14

Supplies:

Contrary to typical automaker practices, Hyundai redesigned its Sonata for 2015 and reduced its base price. A 2.4-liter I4 SE starts at $21,150, $300 less than the 2014 GLS.

The newest car's numbers on dealer lots have been growing. We've seen discounts online as high as $5,100 on 2015 models and as steep as $5,850 on 2014 Sonatas.

Promotions:

Hyundai is still offering leases on 2015 Sonatas starting at $199 a month for 36 months with $2,399 due at signing. You can also get 2.9-percent APR financing for up to 60 months or 3.9-percent for 72 with $500 in bonus cash as the cherry on top. If you're a current Hyundai owner, expect another $500 in the form of a Valued Owner Coupon.

The incentives for buying the 2014 Sonata continue to be even stronger. Zero-percent APR financing is available for up to 72 months. Leases start at $199 a month for 36 months. You can still take advantage of a 90 Day Deferred Payment option. Hyundai continues to provide $2,000 in Retail Bonus Cash and $500 in loyalty money. The bottom line: If you want a '14, now is probably the best time to get one.
