What you must know before buying the Infiniti QX50
, Automotive Editor -
  • Not much QX50 stock to go around
  • 2015 models are hitting dealers and 2014 models are almost gone
  • Great manufacturer-to-dealer incentives on 2015s, but nothing on the 2014 models
  • Lease for $409 per month

Not much stock to go around:

The QX50 continues to be a slower-selling model, so dealers stock it in limited numbers. Finding the best QX50 for you may require special ordering.

2015 models are hitting dealers and 2014 models are almost gone:

2014 models are just about sold out, but the 2015s are rolling in to replenish stock. Despite the 2015s arriving, do not expect a huge upswing in stock at the dealership level.

Great manufacturer-to-dealer incentives on 2015s, but nothing on the 2014 models:

Despite leftover 2014s, Infiniti has discontinued its manufacturer-to-dealer incentives on the older model. However, the automaker is continuing to offer big manufacturer-to-dealer incentives on the 2015 model year. Oddly enough, your best deal may be with a 2015 QX50.

Lease for $409 per month:

The lease deals for the 2014 models are discontinued, but there are two for 39-month leases available for the 2015 model. Get a 39-month lease on the 2015 QX50 Journey with the Premium Package for $409 per month after a $4,199 initial payment. Get the same model with all-wheel drive for the same $409 payment after an initial payment of $4,499.
