And the award goes to…

The F-Type has raked in a good share of awards since its debut in 2013, including MotorWeek’s “Best Convertible,” Stuff Magazine’s “Car of the Year,” Top Gear’s “Convertible of the Year,” and FHM’s “Drop Top of the Year.” No wonder it’s become a best seller…and why dealers aren’t in any hurry to compromise.

Meet the family:

The F-Type lineup was recently expanded with the addition of three Coupe varieties, including a 550-horsepower R Coupe model. Suggested pricing for the original F-Type Convertible starts at $69,000 MSRP and jumps up to $81,000 MSRP for the S or $92,000 MSRP for the V8S. Standard Coupe and Coupe S models should come in slightly lower than their Convertible counterparts – around $65,000 MSRP and $77,000 MSRP, respectively. The new R is now considered the top of the line and has a starting MSRP of $99,000.

High demand = higher prices:

Most models are listed at or above MSRP right now. Prices tend to vary by region, so check around before you sign anything.

Finance or lease a convertible:

Special offers for 2014 Convertibles include low APR financing for up to 60 months or a 36-month lease with $0 security deposit.
