What you must know before buying the Lexus GS 350
, Automotive Editor -
  • Incentives have improved on GS 350 this month
  • Low APR and conquest cash available
  • AWD models are difficult to find
  • Special lease offers have also improved

Is it a good time to buy a GS 350?:

The sporty GS 350 is a niche market vehicle for Lexus, and doesn’t sell in the numbers of the company’s more popular ES lineup. That said, Lexus has dialed up the level of available incentives on the GS in recent months, with that trend only continuing for July. An available offer of 0.9% APR financing has now been extended from 36 months up to 60 months, and you’ll also find $1,000 in lease conquest bonus cash if you currently lease a competing luxury vehicle. Military members can take an extra $750 customer cash back.

Rear-wheel-drive models are much easier to find than those with AWD, especially outside of the snowy Northeastern states.

Will the buying outlook improve?:

Not likely. Today’s offers on the GS are greater than what’s typically available on this model, so there’s no real reason to put off your purchase any longer.

Lease bonus cash means lowered monthly payments:

A current available offer of $1,250 lease bonus cash helps bring down your monthly payment on the GS 350 to a more manageable level. What was already a great lease deal has only improved this month, now featuring a lower monthly payment. Exact lease terms vary, but a payment of $409 per month for either 24 or 27 months comes with between $2,599 and $3,399 due at signing, depending on where you live. Ask your dealer about a traditional 3-year lease, as the terms should be similar.
