3/4 Front Glamour 2014 Lexus IS 250

CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the Lexus IS 250
, Automotive Editor -
  • New 2015 model is available; best specials on 2014
  • Base models are surprisingly easy to find
  • Aggressive pricing reported at the dealer level
  • Lease offer now extends to the new 2015

Is it a good time to buy an IS 250?

The entry-level IS 250 has been something of a sales disappointment for Lexus, but still offers strong value as a capable sport sedan with good handling and a refined interior. Current available offers for the 2014 model are limited to 0.9% APR financing for up to 60 months. Military members can find an extra $750 cash back.

We don’t anticipate better deals anytime soon, as the APR offer now features an extended term and Lexus typically doesn’t offer cash back on any of its models. Most of the IS 250 cars found on dealership lots are base models without a lot of pricey options, which is not the case with the range-topping IS 350, typically found with option packages included.

The new 2015 IS 250 has just hit dealerships, and is available with 1.9% APR financing for up to 60 months. Changes include Siri Eyes Free tech for the infotainment system, standard LED foglamps, and additional content added to several option packages. We’ve heard reports of extremely aggressive discounts off MSRP for the outgoing 2014 even before special incentives, further adding to value.

Regional lease specials are available:

Your exact payment will vary regionally, but special lease offers on the IS 250 now extend to the new 2015 model. Lessees in Southern California, for example, can find a deal of $349 per month for 27 months with $2,499 due at signing. Ask your dealer or a CarsDirect New Vehicle Specialist about even lower lease pricing on the outgoing 2014.
