3/4 Front Glamour 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
, Automotive Editor -
  • No changes for August 2014
  • Manufacturer-to-dealer incentives to help drop prices
  • Niche vehicle with very few rebates
  • Limited demand means lower stock
  • Shop later in the year for the best deals

Niche vehicle means higher prices:

The C63 AMG fits a small niche of buyers, and this small niche will likely buy this model regardless of its rebates. So don't expect to see any rebates on the 2015 C63 AMG.

Manufacturer-to-dealer incentives can lower the price:

Though straight rebates may be rare, Mercedes gives dealers incentives to move stock and avoid losing sales to the M3 and M4. Dealers can use this incentive to lower the price of the car to get you a better deal.

Not a core model:

Though the C-Class is a core model in Mercedes-Benz's lineup, the C63 AMG is not. This means that you can expect limited stock and fairly steady, near-MSRP pricing from all dealers.

Fierce competition may lead to great end-of-year deals:

The battle between the C63 AMG and the BMW brother -- M3 and M4 -- is fierce, and given Bimmer and Mercedes have been fighting for the lead in the luxury car realm, expect to see huge deals closer to the end of the year to seal the victory.
