The frisky, fun-to-drive Mini raises the stakes on fun in its convertible form. What it lacks in passenger space, it makes up in panache. The three-position soft top is automatic and has a heated glass rear window. Inside, a giant center-mounted speedometer dominates the cozy cabin space.
There's theoretical space for four, but the interior and cargo space sacrificed for the convertible top rule this out as a family car. But who can think about practicality in a ride that’s so fun and fuel efficient?
What's New for 2014
The convertible carries over with an older design from 2013 model, but is expected to follow in the footsteps of the redesigned 2014 hardtop next year.
