What you must know before buying the MINI Convertible
Kimberly Smith, Automotive Editor -
  • Currently priced below MSRP
  • Multiple incentives can be stacked for extra savings
  • Bonus offers are available to current owners
  • Limited in-stock selection

Priced to sell:

Current pricing is below MSRP, with slightly better savings on upgraded models. Demand has been low, so there’s motivation to deal if you can find one in stock.

Combine offers for maximum savings:

Low APR and promotional lease offers are widely available and may be combined with other offers, unless otherwise stated. These may include “MINI You-ification” program credits for extra options and accessories, as well as special incentives for USAA families and new college grads.

Current owners can save even more:

A nice loyalty bonus is available to existing owners who finance or lease a new Convertible through MINI Financial Services. The same goes if you owned or leased a MINI within the last year. The company will also waive up to six remaining payments when you turn in a leased 2011 or 2012 Countryman, Clubman, Hardtop or Convertible (maturity dates must be between July 1 – December 31, 2014).

How far will you go to test your new ride?

Low demand means few of these cars are kept in stock, so test driving the one you want may not be an option at your local dealership. Comfort doesn’t necessarily come standard in these cars, especially in the performance-oriented John Cooper Works model, so track down the nearest one available, or carefully weigh your options before placing an order.
