What you must know before buying the MINI Countryman
Kimberly Smith, Automotive Editor -
  • 2015s are selling at MSRP; 2014s are on sale
  • Plenty of new 2015 models in stock
  • Special financing and lease offers are available
  • Multiple incentives can be stacked for extra savings

2014 models are on sale:

Prices on this 2014 top safety pick are below MSRP at the moment. The best savings can be found on Cooper S and John Cooper Works models. 2015s are still selling at MSRP.

Drive home a 2015:

Dealers generally have a good selection of 2015 models on hand. 2014s, especially All4 models, are becoming increasingly difficult to find in stock.

It pays to finance or lease:

Financing for 2015 models starts at 2.9% APR but drops to 0.9% APR for 2014 models. 2014 models are also eligible for an APR credit of up to $1,000 or a lease credit of up to $750, and lessees for both model years can take advantage of a Dealer Contribution Credit of up to $750.

Extra credit:

The savings don’t stop there. “MINI You-ification” credits for extra options and accessories are also available on 2014 models. These include a $500 credit for standard Cooper models, $1,000 for Cooper S and Cooper S All4 models, or $1,250 for John Cooper Works All4 models. In addition, a $500 bonus credit is available for current owners and DriversEd.com graduates who purchase or lease a new 2014 or 2015 model through MINI Financial Services. Upcoming or recent college grads can also receive a $500 credit on a new 2013 or 2014 when that vehicle is financed through MINI Financial Services. Eligible USAA members, on the other hand, can receive up to $1,000 off a new 2013 or 2014 model with proper documentation – no new contract required. Certain offers may be combined.
