3/4 Front Glamour 2014 Nissan Juke

CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the Nissan Juke
, Automotive Editor -
  • 2014 Nissan Juke offered with $500 in rebates (S, SL, SV)
  • Rebate does not apply to Nismo trim level
  • Finance: 0.0% APR for 36 months
  • Lease: $189/mo for 39 months w/ $2,999 due at signing

Available incentives this month:

The Juke is a niche market vehicle for Nissan, but sales have been surprisingly good thanks to positive reviews and a strong sales push. Current pricing is a mixed bag: while real-world pricing before any incentives has improved in recent months, this is balanced by the fact that some previously available special offers have been dialed back. Most notable is the $500 rebate Nissan is offering, which is an improvement over last month's rigid MSRP pricing.

This month, you'll find remarkable 0.0% APR for up to 36 months (1.9% APR for up to 60 months) for the Juke S, SV and SL. The more-affordable Juke S and SV trims are stocked in the greatest numbers, while the upscale SL and especially the sporty NISMO and NISMO RS models can be quite difficult to find (Nismo models offer no incentives).

Will waiting a bit pay off here?

Probably not. However, there's always a chance that Nissan may return incentives on the Juke to their previously available levels within the next few months. But, you won't find a lot more cash on the hood by putting off your purchase. Still, with a vehicle at this price point, the difference to your bottom line will not be so great that we recommend waiting around for better deals that may not materialize.

Would leasing the Juke make more sense?

While a current special lease offer on the Juke does feature a low monthly payment, drive-off costs are a little high for a sub-$20,000 car, making buying a downright better option for a vehicle at this price point. If you do decide to lease, a nationally available deal of $189 per month for 39 months with $2,999 due at lease signing is still available on the Juke S with FWD.
