3/4 Front Glamour 2014 Nissan Quest

CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the Nissan Quest
, Automotive Editor -
  • Slower-selling model with flat pricing
  • S trim is the most readily available
  • Best incentives exclude base S model
  • Excellent current special lease offer

Is it a good time to buy a Quest?:

The Quest remains a relatively slow seller for Nissan, and just doesn’t move the number of units of the class leaders from Honda and Toyota. Still a capable and comfortable family vehicle, it’s now available with some good current incentives. The base S trim level is stocked in the greatest numbers, while the upscale SV, SL and LE trims are a bit harder to find. The best available current incentives, as covered below, exclude the S model. Now is as good a time as any to buy a Quest, as we don’t anticipate special offers improving in the months to come.

Understanding current special offers:

Current special offers on the 2014 Quest are appealing if not overwhelming, but the best deals exclude the base S trim level. The SV, SL and LE trims are available at 0% APR for up to 36 months (0.9% APR for 60 months, 1.9% APR for 72 months), or $1,500 customer cash back. Deals on the S are limited to a customer cash rebate of $500. We recommend the SV over the base S model, if you can find one with the right color and options, as special incentives will close the pricing gap and you’ll be getting more car overall.

Low monthly payment lease on Quest S:

If you do opt for the base Quest S with its lower cost of entry, leasing is currently a strong option. An available lease offer in nearly all national markets takes the form of $259 per month for 39 months with $2,999 due at lease signing. Putting off your lease signing won’t likely net you a better deal.
