Choosing Your Nissan Sentra

The 1.8-liter inline-four produces only 130 horsepower, but the tradeoff is a highway rating of 40 mpg. Except for the base model, all models come with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) as standard equipment.

Sentra S

The base S comes with a six-speed manual transmission; the CVT is optional. It’s equipped with 16-inch wheels, an audio system with auxiliary inputs, cloth seats and an adjustable steering wheel.

Opt for the more efficient FE+ S.

Sentra SV

The SV adds extras like cruise control, two additional speakers, and upgraded cloth upholstery.

Sentra SR

SR buyers get 17-inch wheels, sporty body accents, a rear spoiler with an LED brake light, fog lights and chrome exhaust tip.

Sentra SL

The fully-loaded SL includes a host of near-luxury features like: navigation; a moonroof; leather seats, shift knob and steering wheel; heated front seats; dual-zone automatic climate control; automatic headlights; push-button start; a backup camera; and Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity.

CarsDirect Tip

Only around $3,000 separates the entry-level S and top-of-the-line SL. For buyers in this category, that might be the difference between being able to afford or not afford a car. But if your budget allows, the SL offers substantial features at a terrific price.
